BARISTAS & WAITSTAFF 

New Farm Deli & Cafe` is searching for experienced and reliable Baristas and professional Waitstaff  and/or All-Rounders to join our legendary team.  The above positions would suit enthusiastic professionals ready to fit into a fast-paced, high-energy workplace with an abundance of ambience, positive energy, amazing staff and fantastic clients.                                                                                                                                                                                               

THE BARISTA ROLE 

• Accuracy & speed, skill, flair and dedication to making excellent coffee in a high-volume capacity is essential in our search.
• Knowledge of beans, machine & grinder operation
• Passionate coffee specialists who can easily fit into the team.
• A positive outlook with a firm can-do-attitude
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to create a positive culture and working environment

We are serious about our coffee: Serving consistently great coffee satisfying even the fussiest customer is our biggest aim.                                                                 

WAITSTAFF & ALL-ROUNDER ROLES                                                                                                                                                      In choosing a successful candidate, we look for the following favourable traits: 

• Proven experience in hospitality & customer service (minimum 1 year)
• Experience in table service, mainly of fine dining.  
• Appreciation and basic knowledge of fine cuisine and ingredients and of European and Australian wine.
• Excellent communication skills, team player, ability to work well under pressure, a 'can-do' attitude, strong work ethic, efficiency the ability to consistently provide flawless customer service & satisfaction
• Sound knowledge of P.O.S system
• Outstanding personal presentation and effervescent outgoing personality

ROSTER:  Flexible. Up to 5 days p/w (there are multiple positions on offer, so first in gets first pick!)  Rotation weekend work (if preferred) 

SALARY:  Hourly rate 

JOB TYPE:  Casual or Full-time - Please note that these positions require some weekend work 

RESIDENCY:   Australian Residency preferred.  At the very least you must be able to legally work in Australia without limitations
