JOB DESCRIPTION

The Punch Lane Group encompasses Punch Lane (a 28-year institution) in the theatre district of the CBD, Juliet Melbourne - cocktails and events, in the basement below Punch Lane and WAYGOOD, our local wine bar & eatery in Swan St Richmond.

THE POSTION

We are seeking WAIT STAFF for PUNCH LANE.

The ideal applicant will have the skills and passion to work with an iconic Melbourne restaurant group that is renowned for its food and wine offer. Punch Lane is a favorite dining room of many throughout its 28-year history.

The positions offered are for 2- 4 days per week on a casual or part-time basis.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Wait staff are required to have solid/ exceptional  food & wine knowledge along with the ability to create a rapport with guests
  • The ideal bar applicant is capable of great bar banter and has broad knowledge of spirits and classic cocktails
  • A minimum of 18 months experience in a similar establishment
  • Responsible and accountable running a section
  • Someone who can contribute to  a cohesive FOH team and collaborate  with the kitchen
  • Good knowledge of POS (Ordermate), Phone and booking systems (Open Table) an advantage
  • Be available 2 - 4 evenings per week and some lunches
