Sì Baby is seeking experienced section waiters, hosts, runners and bartenders. 

Located in Newport Brisbane, our venue will be a highly regarded Italian trattoria, Neapolitan pizza and wine/cocktail bar. 

Featuring modern Italian cuisine and classic wine lists, we are looking for experienced, motivated, energetic, and passionate team members who are committed to providing benchmark customer service with quality food and wine. We need an exceptional team with excellent communication skills and a customer-centric work ethic.

The positions are open to candidates with a valid Australian work visa or those who have permanent residency status for Australia.

Positions available: 

Section Waitstaff & Runners: A strong knowledge and understanding of food and wine who can confidently run a section and who have a genuine passion and love for the hospitality industry. 

Host/Hostess: presents a positive first impression of the establishment's friendliness, excellent service, and high standards. The Host/Hostess guests upon arrival, inform guests of their wait time, monitors a waiting list, enters Guest names into the computer system, shows guests to their table and bid guests farewell as they leave. Additionally, the host cares for our guests by refilling beverages and performs light housekeeping duties such as cleaning menus and ensures restrooms are clean, stocked, and orderly. As a member of an energetic team, the Host/Hostess may also need to answer the phones and assist the floor when needed.

Experienced Bartenders: with a strong knowledge and understanding of food, wine, spirits, and cocktails, who has a genuine passion and love for the hospitality industry. This is also a great opportunity for a bar back looking to step up into a bartender role. 

While experience is preferred, we are also happy to put the time in and train someone who is willing to give it a go and has the right attitude!
