JOB DESCRIPTION

We're an iconic local community pub offering Bar, Gaming, Bistro, Bottle shop and Accommodation services. We pride ourselves in delivering great customer service, serving high quality food including classics such as traditional schnitzels, burgers and steaks along with craft beers & cocktails. Our bistro serves modern twists on old classics and is a must stop destination in the mountains. Our well-appointed cozy rooms have been recently renovated and all have private ensuites. We have a pet friendly courtyard which our locals love bringing their four-legged friends along. The Role

Reporting directly to the Venue Manager, you will be assisting in all aspects of the pub's operations. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving team success and ensuring every patron has an exceptional experience. From managing budgets and rosters to creating innovative events, you'll have direct influence over the venue’s performance.

Skills & Attributes

  • Minimum 2 years experience in supervisory or management roles across Bar, Bistro and Gaming environments
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements, and current RSA and RCG
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate, encourage and train staff to achieve desired results and exceed guest expectations
  • Ability to assist with weekly/and or monthly calendar tasks (e.g. stock take, beelines, ordering and deep cleaning schedules)
  • Self motivated and able to lead from the front
  • Must be hands on and able to multi task
  • A passion for customer service, with the ability to create memorable guest experiences
  • Works well under pressure and adapt to change
