REQUIREMENTS

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

  • Experience as a Sushi Chef in an a la carte restaurant is essential
  • Excellent knife skills. Ability to expertly cut and fillet
  • Ability to produce and plate Nigiri, as well as sushi and sashimi preferred 
  • 2-3 years experience working in the kitchen highly regarded
  • Understanding of food safety
  • Strong work ethic and a “can do” attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
  • Excellent communication and presentation
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • Full availability - Able and willing to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
