JOB DESCRIPTION

ABOUT THE ROLE    

With a passion for quality produce, creative flair, and team spirit, you’ll assist the Head Chef to fine-tune rosters, update inventory lists, and liaise with suppliers to ensure the kitchen is fully prepared for the week ahead. Using your expertise and the finest seasonal ingredients you’ll be producing on-trend food whilst assisting us to ensure the smooth flow of kitchen operations across a fast-paced lunch and dinner service.

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Chef de Partie
Executive Chef
Sous chef

Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

ABOUT YOU    

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef and experience leading a team   

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment ensuring high attention to detail.     

  • A team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach.  

  • You have a genuine understanding of the principles and culture of authentic Italian cuisine.  

  • Passion for hospitality & the pursuit for more knowledge   

  • Available to work across a flexible, rotating roster including evenings and weekends.  

  • Sound knowledge of HACCP requirements.   

  • Full unrestricted Australian working rights.
