Snack Cook / Barback (Bussy) – The Toff in Town

The Toff in Town, one of Melbourne’s premier late-night venues, offers an eclectic mix of live music, events, jazz nights, and a stylish cocktail lounge with DJs. We're looking for a dedicated and flexible individual to join our tight-knit team in a unique, multi-faceted role.

About the Role:

This is a niche position that involves both kitchen and venue maintenance duties. We run a small, simple snack menu from Thursday to Saturday. Your primary responsibility will be preparing and serving these dishes as orders come in. During quieter periods, you’ll assist in maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the venue.

If you’re looking for variety, there’s an opportunity to jump behind the bar or assist with general duties once the kitchen closes. This role offers a dynamic working environment where no two shifts are the same.

What We're Looking For:

• Someone who enjoys a different pace and thrives in a late-night, vibrant setting.
• A team player willing to roll up their sleeves and help where needed, whether it’s prepping snacks, keeping the venue in top shape, or jumping into bar service.
• Availability for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shifts, with the option to pick up additional hours in other roles.
