Only 80 minutes drive from Melbourne CBD, iconic Hotel Frangos, Daylesford is seeking experienced, passionate and professional Chef / Chef de Partie to join our growing team. 

Servicing our busy cafe and bar, these positions will suit creative, committed chefs with a passion for good food and a strong understanding of fast-paced and casual dining.

• Be able to maintain smooth and efficient kitchen operations
• Deliver high food service standards
• Possess previous experience in short order, busy cafe or restaurant 
• Experience in stock control
• Excellent time-management and a flexible approach to adapting to guest requests

You must be:

• Trade qualified
• Clean and well-presented
• A proficient multi-tasker able to handle a busy, fast-paced kitchen
• An excellent communicator with the ability to show initiative as well as follow directions
• Have the relevant current food safety and hygiene certification
• Fluent in written and spoken English (essential)
• Available to work nights and weekends
• Ideally 3 years experience in a similar role
