JOB DESCRIPTION

Section Waitstaff

 

The Venue

We are Tanuki! An exciting new 160 seat Japanese restaurant & bar concept opening in mid-November. Located in Double Bay, our new venue will be a sister venue to the likes of Matteo, Osborn House, Kittyhawk, Lobo and The Island. The restaurant will boast a contemporary izakaya menu with an emphasis on fresh, seasonal ingredients and includes an 6-seater sushi counter with a focus on premium sushi and sashimi. The venue will open for lunch & dinner and will also feature an all-day bar menu.

 

The Role(s)

We are looking for confident and experienced candidates! You will be essential in delivering an exceptional experience to our guests from service to the amazing food and drinks they will be enjoying.

The job will include day and night shifts, great tips, ongoing product & service related trainings and a fun & positive working environment.

 

Successful candidates will require

  • 2+ years’ experience in the relevant position you are applying for.
  • Experience with Japanese cuisine and sake is preferred but not essential.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced dynamic restaurant environment.
  • Team player with good communication, attitude and well presented.
  • Valid RSA
  • Full Australian working rights.

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Waitstaff

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS
