We are thrilled to announce the opening of The Gardiner Hotel, a brand-new venue that combines modern style with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. As we prepare to open our doors for the first time, we’re seeking experienced section waiters to join us in our elegant new Bistro. 

The Gardiner is run by the experienced team that launched the renovated Auburn Hotel in summer 2023. As one of our section waiters you will be front and centre in our customer experience. The Bistro is our table service area, offering relaxed dining in our bustling pub.

We are seeking a dedicated Section Waiter who is passionate about delivering exceptional service to join our team. The ideal candidate will be attentive, focused, and committed to maintaining high standards in every aspect of table service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Service Excellence: Ensure each guest has a memorable dining experience by providing friendly, prompt, and professional service.
• Table Maintenance: Keep tables and surrounding areas clean, organized, and set up to restaurant standards. Regularly monitor tables to anticipate and fulfill guest needs.
• Order Accuracy and Delivery: Take orders accurately, communicate any special requests to the kitchen, and ensure orders are delivered correctly and promptly.
• Product Knowledge: Be well-informed about the menu, including ingredients, dietary options, and daily specials, to answer guest questions and make recommendations.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other waitstaff and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service, handle guest requests efficiently, and maintain a positive atmosphere.
• Upselling and Recommendations: Use menu knowledge to suggest additional items that complement guests' choices, enhancing their experience.

• Previous experience as a section waiter in a cafe, restaurant or hotel.
