JOB DESCRIPTION

The Birdhouse is now open at Minchinbury. With a strong emphasis on providing Sydney's West with unparalleled food & beverage offering, we aim to have our service match it.

We're searching for hospitality professionals to join our growing team, with a range of roles available in casual, permanent part-time & with the potential for full-time for the right applicants. We're absolutely passionate when it comes to delivering memorable experiences to every person who steps into one of our venues. A bit about you:

- Minimum 1-year waitress/waiter experience, with table service

Supervisor Roles will require minimum 3 years of experience.

- Responsible for helping us in building an amazing, open, inclusive, and collaborative staff culture, which is shared across our venues.

- Well-presented, punctual, & well-spoken

RSA Essential

- Outgoing, bubbly personality! We're looking for the brightest out there!

Shifts will range from breakfastlunch & dinner. Rotating & Flexible roster. Great for students. Close to public transport, parking available on-site and close by. Pay rates are based on restaurant award & experience within the role. We're looking for the best talent we can find to represent our brand! 


RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Waitstaff

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the restaurant industry for senior roles
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and customer service
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Cash handling in opening & closing restaurant
