Straddie Brewing Co was born out of a love for North Stradbroke Island (Minjerribah) and great tasting beer, crafted for the enjoyment of Straddie-lovers, old and new. We’re devoted to making fresh beer, full of flavour, inspired by place and island time.

The construction of our island home, situated in the beautiful township of Dunwich (Gumpi), is almost complete and we are working towards an early spring opening. Our brewery and canning line will occupy the ground floor, the first floor will house a tap room and kitchen, with the top floor dedicated to a roof-deck bar and event space for soaking in the sunsets and views across Moreton Bay to West Stradbroke Island aka Australia.

We are seeking a Venue/Operations Manager to join our small team, and to play a critical role in developing Straddie Brewing Co’s offering – a community meeting place, an independent and locally owned and operated manufacturer, and a destination venue that encourages visitors to be mindful and to cherish and actively protect Straddie’s vast natural beauty, friendly island vibe and rich history.

Do you relish the challenge and responsibility of developing our island hospitality offering? Our ideal person will have proven experience in a similar role for a similar sized venue (approx 200 pax), and will be responsible for leading, supporting and developing the skills of all venue staff.
