JOB DESCRIPTION

Restaurant Supervisor - Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough

An iconic beachfront hotel, Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough (formerly Observation City) offers 337 accommodation rooms, pool, gym, tennis courts, 24 hour room service, restaurant, bar and premium venue spaces. Currently we are on the look out for a suitable Restaurant & Bar Manager in the most beautiful location in Perth.

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant & Bar Manager to join the professional team at the Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough. In this busy role reporting to the Executive Assistant Manager, you will take the lead in our busy restaurant & bar ensuring the service we offer our guests is exceeds expectations. You will lead a team of professionals and will be responsible for the overall operations of the in room dining department, restaurant and bars.

About the Role

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Managing a profitable and efficient Restaurant & Bar operation
  • Leading and managing a team of up to 30 staff across multiple areas
  • Developing & implementing superior service standards that consistently exceed guest expectations
  • Working with the Executive Chef on menu development
  • Stock control and management including purchasing
  • Implementing succession planning programs 
  • Financial management including cost control

Essential skills and attributes:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communications skills and a strong customer focus
  • Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
  • Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent commercial acumen, including forecasting, month end procedures / reporting and business plans
