About the role

Mjølner’s Venue Manager is to be engaged and involved in leading the team and assisting in new exciting opportunities such as events (eg; Dark Mofo), media profiles, collaborations and much more.

Key responsibilities:

  • Motivate and inspire the restaurant team to exceed guest expectations at every opportunity.
  • Assist in managing forecasting and budgets across beverage, food and staff costs.
  • Maintain stock control procedures with exceptional accuracy.
  • Day-to-day running of the restaurant.
  • Follow The Speakeasy Group Management procedures in detail. 
  • Implement, execute and maintain outstanding levels of service, creating a benchmark for the wider team and inspiring and leading them to operate and deliver to the same standards.  
  • Maintain the venues cleanliness and maintenance to the highest standards.
  • Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, council regulations, food handling and OH&S regulations. 
  • Ensure venue trainings and procedures are up to date and effectively communicated to the greater team.
