JOB DESCRIPTION

The Courthouse Hotel & Kinselas Hotel are iconic hotels located in Taylor Square. We are looking for a Qualified Chef to join the team and make a difference! 

About the role
Working closely with the venues' Head Chef, we want you to share in the success of the Hotel's kitchen team.

Key qualifications and attributes:

  • Demonstrated leadership in previous experience
  • Ability to problem solve and seek guidance where necessary
  • Effective communication skills with a high level of organisation
  • Uncompromising approach to product & service with a great hands-on work ethic
  • Exceptional knowledge of food management systems
  • Experience with managing multiple obligations for several service points

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Chef de Partie

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 years experience in a similar position
  • Possess a strong work ethic and have excellent communication skills
  • Can produce consistent quality
  • Have a positive and ‘can do’ attitude
  • Have a keen eye with high attention to detail
  • Would like to assist with menu planning and suggestions
