Job Summary

Make hot and cold beverages by following Savour’s recipes and systems. Be knowledgable of our different beans and brewing methods Savour provides its customers. Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all guests when taking orders, making recommendations (when appropriate), processing payments, and serving food or beverages to customers at the counter or table.

We don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we offer seriously great food, desserts & coffee!
• Open bar and complete necessary checklists.
• Close bar and complete necessary checklists.
• Complete all checklists assigned to you on a daily / weekly basis.
• Receive and process guest payments.
•  Prepare and serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, teas, muddled drinks, shakes & cold drinks.
• Clean or sanitise work areas, utensils, or equipment.
• Describe menu items to guest or suggest products that might appeal to them
• Clean service areas.
• Serve prepared foods from our cabinets.
• Set up and restock retail product displays.
• Grind coffee beans for guest.
• Stock take-away stations.
• Write and complete prep list.
• Wrap, label and date food/beverage items when being stored.
• Provide guest with product details, such as Savour Blend description.
• Take out rubbish.
• Order, receive and stock supplies or retail products.
• Check temperatures of refrigerators, pie warm, and cabinets to ensure proper functioning.
• Create signs to advertise store products or events.
• Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offers suggestions for improvement.
• Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant.
• Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
