JOB DESCRIPTION

Laundy Hotels are seeking an Operations Manager to join the team at The Lennox Hotel located in Lennox Head in the NSW Northern Rivers.
 
The Lennox Hotel is situated in the perfect beach location, where friendly locals and carefree holidaymakers mix together enjoying the pub’s great atmosphere. We channel the easy, breezy vibe that nature gave us, then we add another layer of our own heartfelt Aussie hospitality. Whether you’re sipping on an ice-cold beer downstairs or upstairs on the balcony of our in-house restaurant, the Lennox Hotel has, without doubt, one of the most picturesque views on the east coast. Renowned for local live music, great fresh food – cooked over charcoal so those flavours really sing. Time spent at the Lennox makes locals glad they live here, and visitors wish they did.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the General Manager, as the Operations Manager at The Lennox Hotel, you are responsible for but not limited to: 

  • Accountability for achieving all revenue targets and having an agile approach to managing the business to ensure these targets are met. 
  • Strictly adhere to and enforce all company policies to ensure the business is run effectively and efficiently. 
  • Deliver all HR requirements for the business, including training, coaching and developing talent pipelines for all leadership roles. 
  • Oversee all operational requirements of the business including marketing, security, maintenance, food and beverage service, sales and events, gaming, accommodation and cash management.
