JOB DESCRIPTION

About Foodco

Foodco is an established leader in casual dining. With close to 300 cafes outlets throughout Australia, you may know us by our brands; Muffin Break and Jamaica Blue.

We are all about excellent coffee and menu items freshly made in our cafes.

An opportunity has recently become available for a switched on hospitality professional wanting to make their mark in a multi-site cafe/retail operations.

 

Your Role

We are looking for an an energetic, customer-focused person with a head for business, to join our team.  

In your role as a Operations Consultant / Franchise Business Coach you will:

  • Assist our franchise partners to maximise sales and profitability, comply with our operational standards and assist in finding opportunities to maximise the growth in their business.
  • Provide quality ongoing training to the cafe outlets, through a process of audits, evaluations and observation. 
  • Work with franchise partners to open new cafe operations and manage changeovers as and when directed, providing assistance in the training of new and existing teams
  • Work closely with your franchise partners and by developing a professional relationship will achieve the desired results.

 

Location

 

This position is based in WA and will require travel to sites around the state.

 

Training and Salary Package

We offer extensive training in Foodco systems. Salary package is commensurate with experience.

Assistant Manager
Restaurant Manager
Venue Manager
Cafe Manager

Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Experience and Skills

 

Ideally you have strong communication skills, have a head for business and enjoy working in a demanding and competitive environment. You are self-motivated and flexible with a hands-on approach to your work, complimented by a sound knowledge of coffee and cafe operations.

 

You will have broad knowledge and experience in all aspects of retail food or hospitality operations including financial analysis, marketing and training with multi-site experience. Education in business studies or hospitality management would be an advantage but is not essential. 

 

A minimum of 3 years in a cafe/restaurant manager or assistant manager role would also be an advantage.
