An exciting opportunity is available in our Kitchen department to join our team in our one-of-a-kind event space & Kingi restaurant for guests of The Hotel Britomart. We are seeking a capable and suitably experienced professional to join The Hotel Britomart in the position of Kitchen Hand.  

The Role

We’re looking for a passionate Kitchen hand to join the team. You will thrive on immersing yourself in the brand, hotel and events operation and be proud to be part of The Hotel Britomart team.

Reporting to Head Chef, you will be responsible for assisting the Kitchen department to deliver New Zealand’s most premium dining and events experience.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A natural passion for hospitality industry
• A proven performance record with at least one year experience in a hotel or lodge related position.
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• The tenacity to thrive in a fast-paced performance driven environment – you inspire those around you by excelling in your role.
• A great work ethic, are dedicated and have a can do attitude.
• Be able to work rostered shifts, that will include evenings and weekends.
