JOB DESCRIPTION

One of Redfern’s best loved venues, a unique and diverse space, boasting a medley of lifestyle experiences for socialising, celebrating and retreating.

On the ground floor is a narrow restaurant, that leads to a spacious courtyard, which is home to Ricos Tacos – where patrons come for a Taco fuelled fiesta! With tacos being the hero of the menu, it also features a great array of patron favourites including burgers, charcoal roast chicken with house-made hot sauce, Ricos' famous hash browns, white fish tostadas, zucchini flower quesadillas and ice cream sandwiches.

Upstairs is where you’ll find Club Ricos, our cantina disco den meets sports bar, only when the sun goes down.  Inspired by Mexican sports bars in the 1960s, you’ll find a late-night menu of quesadillas and DJs spinning until the last cervaza is served.

The Role

As Junior Sous, you will be an integral member of the kitchen brigade, working across a number of sections, leading the team and ensuring the guest experience is high for our patrons. 

The role will have you hands on in ordering, stocktake, training junior chefs and ensuring quality across our incredible kitchen. This is a great opportunity to excel your Kitchen Management career and learn from some of the best.

Having worked in some of Sydney’s most bustling restaurants and pubs as a Senior CDP or Junior Sous Chef , you will be well equipped to join our incredible team
