JOB DESCRIPTION

Bourke Street Bakery is well known as one of Sydney's top artisan bakeries.

We are currently seeking a baker to join the team on a casual basis at our flagship store in Surry Hills.

Candidates must have experience working with yeasted doughs, cakes and tarts.

Hours are early mornings.

Duties include:

  • Proving and baking sweet and savoury pastries.
  • Setting temperatures and cooking times for different products
  • Assembling and finishing tarts
  • Working with our head baker at head office and communicating with him
  • monitoring proving process

Attributes:

  • Be able to work unsupervised
  • Be organised with production and have excellent time management skills
  • Have a genuine passion for artisan breads & patisserie
  • Work as part of a team
