JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Located in the mist of the Brisbane CBD, the Hotel is accessible to all the attractions Brisbane has on offer including Queen Street Mall and Suncorp Stadium to name a few.  The Hotel’s design accommodates 103 guests with a perfect blend of modern and minimalist décor in an urban setting for those who are visiting Brisbane for business or leisure.

We are now searching for a Hotel Receptionist to join the team on a casual basis in a variety of shifts across the 24hr/ 7 day week roster.

As a suitable applicant your key responsibilities are:

  • Completing reservation requests from guest via phone call, email and other mediums
  • Maintaining Guest accounts and completing a variety of front desk duties
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests with their requests via phone or at front desk
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure amenities are arranged for the guests
  • Providing information to the guests with knowledge of local attractions and sites
  • Undertaking credit card payments, cash handling and other invoice transaction
  • Maintaining security and OH&S requirements for the hotel\
  •  

As a suitable applicant you must have:

  • Previous experience in the hotel/tourism industry as a front desk receptionist or similar
  • Effective customer service skills and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks at once
  • Practical computer skills and knowledge
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills to provide a great customer experience to the guests
  • The ability to work autonomously and work cohesively within a team environment
  • Previous experience with cash handling and transaction handling

REQUIREMENTS

The will require an individual that has experience with microsoft suite and is familiar with Hotel Reception daily duties and responsibilities.
