JOB DESCRIPTION

Who we are?

Al Aseel is 22 years young, developed upon our love for food, service, family, sharing and fun.

 The Al Aseel group continues to evolve and grow, with six Al Aseel restaurants Sydney-wide. In conjunction with this, a catering kitchen in Greenacre with an incredible catering offering for corporate and private events- servicing clients in the retail, airline and government industries.

 The Role

We are looking for an Host to join us in Greenacre. As a Host, you will be responsible to greet guests, be the front line to our customers both in venue and also on the phone, and escorting customers to the dining section. You should have solid customer service experience and people skills to make sure our guests will receive a pleasant dining experience from start to till their departure.

 

 Your key duties and responsibilities will be, but are not limited to: 

  • Welcome guests to the venue
  • Manage reservations
  • Escort customers to assigned dining area
  • Greet customers upon their departure
  • Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
  • Entertain incoming calls and address customers’ concerns
  • Support with takeaway orders 
  • Help wait staff as needed

Who are you?

  • Understanding of restaurant etiquette
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • Experience in managing reservations
  • Demonstrable customer-service skills
  • Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area
