The Role

As a Head Host in the award winning Zephyr Sky Bar, you will be  assisting Management with the daily operation of the Venue; ensuring maximum guest satisfaction and profit contribution. Observe and enforce objectives, policies, standards and procedures. Assisting with operations whilst management are attending to other duties.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Co-ordinate the department operation to ensure service standards are met 
  • Work on exceeding guests' expectations in accordance with the Hyatt Regency standards and procedures 
  • Have friendly demeanor and excellent interpersonal relationship skills to be able to relate well with customers of diverse background.
  • Ensure HACCP / food safety training is completed and all the HACCP policies & procedures are followed 
  • Good understanding of food and beverage and the delivery of both
  • Possess thorough knowledge of reservation system like table check or similar.
  • Handle customer queries and complaints with professionalism, concern and understanding according to Hotel standard. Communicate all comments and feedback from guests and staff.
  • Anticipate guest’s needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other associates.
  • Promote repeat business through guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure all special guest requests are followed through to the relevant departments
  • Understand opening and closing procedures including a thorough knowledge of the Point of Sale System. Adhere to hotel cash handling policies and procedures when required.
  • Be aware of hotel activities including; VIPs in House, Group movement, Promotional activity, Guest feedback, Product knowledge.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of point of sale (POS) and property management system (PMS) and relevant applications to venues operations 
  • Ensure correct liquor licensing laws are abided by, paying particular attention to intoxicated guests and underage guests.
  • Responsible for coordinating the work of the Food and Beverage Attendants ensuring they are performing their duties in accordance with the standards, and in a prompt and efficient way, whilst maintaining quality standards.
  • Inspect and oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of furniture and fittings, operating equipment, venues décor, public areas and service areas are maintained and clean at all times. Coordinate with Housekeeping and Engineering to ensure the highest level of product delivery.
