A bit about you:

Evra is currently looking for an inspired and experienced Head Chef / Sous Chef to join our team.  Working under the Executive chef you will be in charge of seamlessly operating the Restaurant side if the business.

  • Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday. This is a fast-paced position. 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Assist the Executive Chef in all kitchen operations.
  • Deliver high quality food in a timely and effective manner, as per EVRA standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of chefs and production employees.
  • Maintain purchasing, receiving and storage standards, while managing budget expectations
  • Assist with menu planning.
  • Follow appropriate food handling procedures to ensure temperature and hygiene control.
  • Ensure that all standards are kept to the highest
  • Monitor, coach and support your team with passion and fun.
  • Encourage individuality, innovation and initiative in your team members.
  • Provide hands-on leadership across all service area


The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting the Executive chef with the day-to-day operations.

 

This position will require flexibility and weekend work and may comprise of a combination of day and night shifts in accordance with business demands. This is a full-time opportunity; applicants must have full working rights. 

 


RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Executive Chef
Head Chef
Sous chef

Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

This Position requires an experienced chef who can provide outstanding dishes. You will need proven experience. This role will require you to work 5 days per week including weekends, in accordance with business demands.
