The position offers an opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in the latest and exciting Japanese restaurant in Brisbane.

What you'll be doing -
Preparing, cooking and presenting a variety of high-quality dishes in line with our restaurant's cuisine and standards
Collaborating with your team to develop new and innovative menu items
Ensuring consistent food quality, portion control, and presentation
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment
Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
Providing mentorship and training to junior kitchen staff

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.
Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Head Chef in a reputable hospitality establishment
Formal culinary qualification or training (e.g. Certificate III in Commercial Cookery)
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods and presentation
Excellent time management, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills and the ability to work well under pressure
Good communication and customer service skills
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Interview required
Induction/onboarding required prior to starting role
