The Albion Hotel in Casterton
is looking for a new head chef to partner with. Over the last few years the venue has undergone significant upgrade and gained a widespread name for food service and accommodation in the western district.
As the chef in charge you will monitor costings , orders and stock control, rostering for the kitchen, 2-3 new menus per year and weekly specials.
As an extremely diverse business you will be exposed to new opportunities to grow as a chef professionally and financially. On site living and generally a 4 day work week provides extremely good balance and working conditions.
we also have a newly opened Gin distillery, sure to add some fun to the mix !
Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.
We are looking for a grounded individual that is accustomed to country life.
a well rounded chef with an experience hands on approach to all kitchen elements
opertaionally very fast and efficient as we are busy more often than not.
