JOB DESCRIPTION

Grounded on the sandy shoreline of one of Sydney’s most iconic harbour beaches, Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel sings out to those in search of endless summers, and postcard panoramic views. With a waterside Beach Club, four bars, a number of casual dining areas and three wedding & event spaces, we host some of Sydney’s most memorable parties. 

The Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel is a 31-room boutique hotel with the latest concept in bar and dining in Sydney. 
 
Laundy Hotels currently have an opportunity for an experienced Guest Service Agent to join our highly motivated team at the Watson's Bay Boutique Hotel in the picturesque Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.

THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Guest Service Agent at Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel, you will be responsible for:  

  • Handling the check-in and check-out guest experience 
  • Responding to all incoming telephone and email enquiries in a professional and sales orientated manner 
  • Handling all accommodation and restaurant reservation enquiries 
  • Providing outstanding customer service and assistance to hotel and dining guests 
  • The accurate and timely handling of cashiering and administrative tasks 
  • Attracting and retaining guests through providing a high level of customer service and being knowledgeable about out services 
  • Working independently and unsupervised at times

REQUIREMENTS

WHO ARE YOU
As a driven, passionate and focused individual you will possess the following attributes and skills:

  • Experience in a customer service role (ideally in the accommodation industry) is preferred but not essential 
  • Superb customer service skills 
  • Immaculate presentation paralleled by attention to detail 
  • Ability to share your knowledge, multi-task and answer questions on many topics 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
  • A professional and organised approach to your role 
  • Confidence amongst a wide variety of guests 
  • The ability to learn large amounts of information on every area of the venue 
  • Strong administrative skills including knowledge of outlook, Microsoft Office and booking systems 
  • Team player with a can do approach
  • The flexibility to work shifts including mornings, afternoons & evenings

It should be noted that this role includes morning (7am to 3pm) and evening shifts (1pm to 9pm) across seven days. You will be required to work weekends, and it is expected that all applicants will hold an RSA certificate.
