JOB DESCRIPTION

Its safe to say we are BUSY! everything old is going to be new at Burleigh Town Hotel with our $4.5 million dollar renovation.

The highly anticipated, newly renovated venue will boost a 400 person beer garden, 250 seated bistro with a new menu and in house smoker, large functions room and large entertainment stage. From smaller bistro bookings to full venue celebrations, the opportunity to create the most memorable events with clients is endless. If you are passionate about events and organisation, love connecting with people and are a team player who wants to join a great company, we want to hear from YOU!

  • A highly organized professional with proven experience managing events in the hotel or hospitality industry
  • Exceptional communication, customer services and stakeholder engagement skills

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Event Manager

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Essential requirements:

  • 2 years previous experience in Events Management
  • Develop and lead all key events end-to-end, from planning, sourcing & executing appropriate events and entertainment that targets our core customer audiences
  • Events and function development to deliver a superior customer experience and drive sales growth
  • Execute promotional campaigns to build awareness of the events and promotions across traditional and online channels including website, social, & email
  • Strong administration and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
