JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Functions & Events Floor Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis, with an immediate start. If you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoy working as part of a team, this role is for you!

This role will assist the Events and Partnerships Manager in delivering premium events across our venues in the Inner West of Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the smooth operation of all events, ensuring everything runs seamlessly.
  • Attend to guests' needs, providing exceptional service throughout the event.
  • Set up and set down event spaces as per specifications.
  • Ensure the timely running of food service, coordinating closely with the kitchen and staff to adhere to event runsheets.
  • Interpret event runsheets for efficient event execution.
  • Manage food and beverage service for various events, ensuring consistent quality and flow.
  • Communicate effectively with event staff, bar staff, and chefs during service.
  • Cover staff breaks and support the restaurant when events are not scheduled.
  • Assist the team with general bar and wait staff duties as needed.
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety requirements at all times.

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

  • NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card
  • Proven experience in running function and event operations.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Enthusiasm and motivation to work as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach to shifts, including the ability to support restaurant operations when events are not scheduled.
  • Commitment to adhering to workplace safety standards.
