JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you a passionate Function/Event Coordinator/Manager in the hospitality industry?

We are seeking a hospitality function/events manager to sell and coordinate large group reservations and private events for our group of Gold Coast restaurants. 
Our amazing venues demand high standards of service for our visiting guests, and we pride ourselves on our professional relationship along with A+ service from enquiry through to event completion.

If you come from a solid hospitality background, have experience of functions/events and are accustomed to creating an exceptional guest experience, then we want to talk to you.

You must manage the day-to-day function/event sales and coordination through a consistent process, be a clear communicator, be able to guide and direct staff in preparation of the event and possess a knack for planning and implementing multiple tasks. 

Prior event coordination experience is required.

You will bring a wealth of customer service experience, event knowledge and discipline to raise the service bar. You are a true professional who knows how to get the best from everyone. Reporting directly to our General Manager, you will have access to all the support you require to successfully operate in this environment.

What you bring to the table:

3-5 years of hospitality and/or event sales experience
Excellent administration skills
Task orientated and highly organized.
Advanced skills in Microsoft office outlook, excel, word, one-drive.  
Well-spoken and confident sales ability by phone and face-to-face
Own car to meet clients for site inspections.
Ability to work under pressure and priorities competing demands.
Understanding of catering and event planning logistics
