JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a highly experienced Functions Manager who is strong in leading and coaching a team, passionate about delivering quality and food and most of all, customer focused in all that they do.

Key responsibilities include -  

  • Hands on leadership of teams of event staff to deliver exceptional service across a diverse range of functions and events.
  • Execution of event run sheets, including set up and pack down of the event spaces.
  • Liaising with Chefs in order to meet service delivery expectations.
  • Proactively anticipating guest requirements.

About the Club

The Queensland Sporting Club – or Bulimba Golf Club, as it’s known - is a 9-hole, par 3 golf course located on the Brisbane River in inner East Brisbane, just 15 minutes from the Brisbane CBD. 

Bulimba GC is a not-for-profit, community-based club with a significant golfing and non-golfing membership base. The Club takes pride in supporting the local community and hosts many golf and social events throughout the year.

The Club accommodates a wide variety of events and is the ideal venue for corporate golf days, social golf groups, weddings, Christmas parties and birthday celebrations.

The facilities include four versatile event spaces, including a newly refurbished Clubhouse with its own dedicated sports bar and restaurant. There is also a 90-metre practice range and putting green. 

In short, Bulimba Golf Club is a unique recreational offering in Brisbane.
