Waitstaff are responsible for creating a friendly and service-focused environment for misschu customers. All
interactions with customers must be professional, polite and timely. This position is responsible for taking
customer’s orders, processing payments, preparing cold and hot drinks, serving food and beverage and ensuring the
site is clean, comfortable, safe and hygenic at all times.
• Communicates clearly, effectively and professionally with fellow misschu Team Members, Managers and
Customers
• Works as a team player, with a positive attitude
• Maintains a thorough knowledge of all menu items so as to be able to assist customers with all enquiries
• Displays a good working knowledge of assisting customers with special needs, such as the handicapt, the
elderly and customers with allergies
• Participates at relevant meetings, workshops and training sessions
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
• Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
• Safe Food Handling Certificate
• Ability to professionally serve food and beveage to customers
• Excellent communication skills
• Well groomed
• Ability to work under pressure
• Knowledge of working within a socially diverse environment
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise
• Understanding of and an ability to follow WHS and security procedures
