About the role

Stamford Plaza Melbourne have an exciting opportunity available for a passionate Food & Beverage Duty Manager. As the Food & Beverage Duty Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the team in accordance with standard operating procedures, training staff on performance standards, F&B menus and product knowledge.

In addition to the above, other duties of this position include:

• Implement monthly up-selling programs and ensure the team are reaching set targets.
• Coordinating the operations of different outlets: bar, room service, breakfast, banquets
• Deal with guest complaints following correct hotel procedures.
• Attend shift handover briefings, read and action items in communication diary and noticeboard.
• Prepare fortnightly rosters.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality Management (highly desirable).
• Strong leadership skills and experience.
• Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
