FOH attendant for cafe/bistro in the Kogarah area with a view to full time Supervisor position in near future.

Must have at least 2 years experience in a cafe or restaurant including exceptional Food Safety knowledge.

Your role will include taking customers orders and receiving payment, barista duties including making shakes, smoothies etc, preparation of sandwiches and other "Grab and Go" items, ensuring the smooth running of food from the pass and communicating closely with the chefs and customers alike.

You will be maintaining the hygienic and safe storing of food in FOH and liaising with Head Chef on stock levels and requirements.

This will be a hands on role requiring some evenings and weekend shifts (Penalties paid)

Trading hours are 8 am to 9pm daily.

After a trial period, you will also be considered for a full time Supervisors position, which will include the supervision and training of other team members.

As we are a registered Club, you must have your RSA to apply.

• 2 years experience as FOH in a similar environment
• RSA Certificate
• Food Safety Certificate
• Previous Barista experience, including shakes, smoothies and general prep of sandwiches,wraps etc
• A strong understanding of run of service in a busy restaurant/café
• Experience using POS systems
• Able to carry 3 plates (or willing to learn how)
• An expert communicator – with customers and fellow staff
• Applicants must be flexible and be available to work a variety of day and weekend shifts
