JOB DESCRIPTION

WAITSTAFF //  MOONHOUSE //  COMMUNE GROUP

Moonhouse in Balaclava, the newest, more versality and slightly refined sister of  the folks at Commune Group, responsible for fellow Southside gems Firebird, Hanoi Hannah and Tokyo Tina. 

 Is on the hunt for 2 gun waiters/bartenders to join their tight knit team!

If you have a love of Cantonese food, boozy cocktails and hiphop beats this is the place for you! Moonhouse offering a multi demonestional dining experience from Unlimited Yumcha, Main Dining and a private dining room, there is always froom to grow and learn. 

Our team is passionate, engaged, and excited about Asian cuisine and the dining industry as a whole. We are constantly joining exciting events around the city and have a strong passion for food, creativity and the environment.

  • At least 1 + years' experience in a restaurant environment
  • Wine and beverage knowledge desirable but not mandatory
  • Exceptional communication skills with employees and customers
  • Positive, professional and positive disposition towards work

Think Hainanese chicken club sandwiches, reimagined prawn toast with prawn bisque dipping sauce, plus a full wok section starring supreme fried rice, soft shell crab tossed with garlic, black bean and pepper, and a completely Australian bev list from wines to spirits to everything else you can think of!! // Including a private upstairs diner and cocktail bar with its own specialised snack Menu!
