We are a busy cafe seeking competent and experienced FOH Staff to join our team - a family run business of 41 years and counting!  Applicants preferably have worked in a fast-paced café/restaurant environment with 2 years prior experience or equivalent. 30-40 hrs per week for right applicant, availability over weekends a must.

Duties include but not limited to;

• Greet customers appropriately and help them decide on a beverage or food when needed.
• Upsell store items when the opportunity arises.
• Maintain cleanliness by sanitising equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Follow all safety and organisational standards to maintain a healthy and safe environment.
• Run Food and Drinks, take orders, take payments
• Willing to work shiftts such as 6pm-2am and 8pm-4am)

• You will need to love hospitality, working in a great team and serving the public
• You will have an eye for detail, excellent personal presentation, a committed work ethic and a professional and confident communication style
• Excellent food and wine knowledge
• A strong understanding of run of service in a busy restaurant/café
• Experience using POS systemsAble to carry 3 plates (or willing to learn how)
• An expert communicator – with customers and fellow staff
• Applicants must be flexible and be available to work a variety of day and weekend shifts (Willing to work shiftts such as 6pm-2pm and 8pm-4am)
• Hold a valid RSA
• Have full Australian / NZ working rights.
