Are you a seasoned hospitality professional with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Floor Manager to join our team and lead our front-of-house operations. As the Restaurant Floor Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant and providing excellent customer service to our valued guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the restaurant's floor operations, including the dining area, bar and hosts.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise the front-of-house staff, including hosts, servers, and bartenders, to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development among the staff.
  • Monitor and maintain restaurant cleanliness, organisation, and presentation standards to create an inviting and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest inquiries to optimise seating capacity and ensure a smooth dining experience.
  • Handle guest feedback, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally, aiming to resolve issues and exceed customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient communication and coordination between the front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies, equipment, and beverages as needed.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Floor Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong customer service orientation, with a genuine passion for providing an outstanding dining experience.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment, making sound decisions under pressure.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including reservations systems, POS systems, and inventory management.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings, based on business needs.
  • A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service.
