About CQ

The Consortium Qld’s mission is to seek out hospitality opportunities in Brisbane’s Bayside, with a focus on Manly and the harbour. Our first venue, Tide on the Jetty, is a local favourite holding prime position over the water, and our second venue, The Arsonist, has been well-received with it's open fire kitchen and whiskey bar concept that's brought a little bit of the city out to the suburbs. Further growth is planned for the next two to five years within the Manly area.

About the Role

The Arsonist brings a luxe dining and bar experience to bayside food lovers.

Tide on the Jetty offers a casual dining epxerience with one of the most incredible views you'll have while working.

We seek experienced front of house staff with a genuine love for the hospitality industry. You'll be that person who notices when drinks are getting low, or when someone's in need before they ask.

You'll be at ease explaining our menus, offering suggestions and going that bit further to make sure our customers have a great experience.

You'll support your colleagues with confidence, skills and speed, and can slip behind the espresso machine or help catch up in the bar when things get a little crazy.

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this role you must have met the following criteria: 

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
  • Formal and/or relevant experience in a high standard of food and beverage service.
  • Experience in function/event service.
  • Engaging communication skills
  • Show professionalism and a commitment to the business at all times
  • Able to work effectively in a professional team environment
  • Support the Restaurant Manager and Restaurant Supervisors with systems and procedures to ensure professional level of service is met and exceeded at all time
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Quick and lateral thinking
  • Good understanding of booking online platforms and POS systems
  • Up to date with culinary trends
  • Resilient with the ability to cope well under pressure
  • Engaged with the vision of the brand
  • Innovative and continuously seeking to improve
