JOB DESCRIPTION

Two Yolks is a burger bar in the centre of Burleigh Heads on Connor street. Showcasing the freshest, thoughtfully sourced, high-quality and most mouth-watering menu in town! Together with signature American style smashed burgers and our signature bacon, egg & cheese breakfast burgers, our menu offers fresh juices and coffees to accompany.

We are seeking Back of House hospitality professionals to join the team and journey of Two Yolks Burleigh flagship store.

Two Yolks will be operating from morning to evening 7:00am - 9:00pm, Monday- Sunday. Hours available for the right people. Immediate start.

Duties and responsibilities:

The cuisine involves grill, fryer, breakfast cooking, along with focus on daily prep, food maintenance and food service- a la carte style kitchen operation.

As our cook, you will utilise your skills in food preparation, food service and safe kitchen procedures.

As well as:

  • Managing daily kitchen operations and food prep- working with eggs, proteins, fresh vegetables, sauces and garnishes.
  • A la Carte style kitchen set up.
  • Be responsible for receiving stock, stock control.
  • Maintenance of high standards of hygiene and compliance to food safety guidelines
  • Understanding portion control, and most importantly food presentation
  • Keeping all work area to a high standard including cleanliness
  • Online Food Ordering Systems- Uber Eats, Menu log, Deliveroo
  • Complete open and close procedures.
  • Available to work weekdays/weekends and nights, public holidays

Skills and experience

You will be a positive, proactive individual with initiative. Passionate and ambitious individual who takes pride in their work, eye for detail for food presentation and can handle a fast pace environment. A team player is essential.
