Bar Alto is currently on the lookout for a new bar supervisor and experienced bartenders to join our team. We are a high-volume bar in the Brisbane Powerhouse that serves cocktails, beers, wines, spirits, coffee so knowledge of these is essential. We mainly serve the pre-theatre crowds for an array of different and fun comedy, art, music etc shows. This means every day is a new and diverse crowd for which we cater to.
We also dispense drinks for a fine dining restaurant that is attached and provide bar service for bar patrons. The bar is in a beautiful spot overlooking the Brisbane River and has a 17-year reputation of providing high-class service and drinks.
The Brisbane Powerhouse, which we are inside of, hosts many events such as the Brisbane Comedy Festival, Night Feast and Melt Festival just to name a few, so there is always something fun happening.
The ideal candidate/s would be a bubbly, outgoing person with the relevant experience and able to receive and direct orders under the bar managers supervision. A high level of English is essential
Upwards of 30 hours available for the right candidate on days Wednesday-Sunday.
Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.
No certificates required
Upwards of 1 year bartending expereice as well as supervising experience is preferred but not essential
