This is a great opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to join our management team at Hotel Canobolas. As Duty Manager you will work closely with our F&B Service Manager to ensure the presentation and service standards of our venue exceed our customers' expectations.
 
We're looking for a go-getter who will bring energy and enthusiasm to everything they do. Maturity and drive are required, along with a front of house focus and the ability to connect with your customers and team. 
 
THE OPPORTUNITY:
This role is extremely important to the daily operation and overall success of this venue. As Duty Manager you will oversee the management of our fabulous bar and service team, including; directing, leading, motivating and training of staff.
 
You will lead your team through busy services periods ensuring a high level of customer service at all times. Coming from a strong hospitality background fostered around F&B, gaming, wagering & service, your passion for providing a great product, even in a sometimes pressured environment, is always seen in your work. 
 

ABOUT YOU:
You are someone who loves being on the floor, leading the team and creating positive and genuine interactions and experiences for guests. You will have a background in similar multifaceted venue; with bars, food, gaming, entertainment and functions.
 
You are a naturally friendly, self motivated person with excellent people skills. Someone who takes a hands-on approach to management and loves to see your team succeed. You can work across opening, mid or closing shifts when required, and enjoy working to a rotating roster which may include weekends. 
 
WHAT YOU NEED:

• At least 2 years in a similar role 
• Current RSA & RCG certificates
• A passion for the hospitality industry with the ability to create a positive and proactive working environment
• Be available to work on a rotating roster, including weekends. 
• Have full rights to work in Australia
