JOB DESCRIPTION

Part of Solotel’s diverse portfolio of 26 venues and one of Sydney's most anticipated openings of 2022, The Abercrombie has undergone a major transformation and is now 3 venues under one roof. Abercrombie is a defining cultural experience like no other - a creative chameleon both day and night. 
 
On ground floor is the Abercrombie’s incredible performance and club space, public bar, and beer garden. For a more relaxed atmosphere, patrons venture upstairs to Casa Rosa, a playful, late-night Italo-disco cocktail lounge and rooftop terrace with an eclectic mix of DJs on high rotation throughout the week.  

Patrons can also head into the adjoining terraces, for Chippendale's (very) late-night wine bar and shop, Lil Sis. Inspired by the charming ‘cave à vins’ found in the neighbourhoods of Paris. 

With a variety of concepts all under one roof, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Duty Manager with a passion for Sydney's nightlife scene to serve, grow and lead with us at Abercrombie. 

The Role 

As Duty Manager, you’ll be a hands on hospitality professional who rolls up their sleeves up and motivates the team.  Hospitality is first nature to you, developed from your time working in some of Sydney's most loved nightlife venues and pubs.

Your role will involve all of the venue essentials including opening and closing the venue, training and developing the team, creating an incredible atmosphere for our staff and patrons and getting hands on behind the bar and on the floor.

Motivating, inspiring and training your team will be at the forefront and ensuring the patron experience is paramount.

Experience working as a Duty Manager or Supervisor in some of Sydney’s most reputable pubs, hospitality groups or small bars will allow you to hit the ground running.   Excel your hospitality career with Solotel and come and pour, host and grow with us.
