The Jindalee Hotel is on the hunt for a Duty Manger to join the team! 

The Jindalee Hotel & Functions Centre is conveniently located just ten minutes west of the city center and is one of Brisbane’s most exciting function venues. Families are catered for with a modern playground for young children with a clear view from the restaurant. For corporate clients looking for an unobtrusive lunch, our Roadhouse Grill concept restaurant offers an array of delights or a more traditional fare in a relaxed, outdoor environment.

As a Duty Manager, your role will involve:  

• Managing a diverse team
• Controlling labour on a daily basis  
• Troubleshooting through any IT issues  
• Resolving customer complaints and ensuring the highest level of customer service is met  
• Managing bookings, private events, and key sessions  
• Training, mentoring and inducting new team members into the business  
• Basic revenue reporting and till reconciliation at the end of your shift

Requirements:  

• Previous hospitality supervisor/management experience  
• Full working rights in Australia and valid RSA, RSG, OLD RMLV and approved managers license preferable, training can be provided
• Proficient computer skills  
• Ability to thrive under pressure 
• Ability to take direction from Venue Manager and implement strategies   
• Ensuring all policies, procedures and standards are met and clearly communicated
