We are looking for a high- performing Duty Manager to join our Team

Camperdown Commons is a unique hub located in the Inner West of Sydney, Australia. It provides both indoor and outdoor spaces for various dining experiences, events, and community gatherings.

About the Role: 

Roles & Responsibilites 

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring our PEOPLE & GUESTS are feeling welcomed and safe..
• Oversee the management of responsible service of alcohol 
• Oversee COMPLIANCE with health and safety regulations 
• Responsible for opening and closing the venue
• Manage roles and responsibilities of your team ensuring that capabilities are met.
• Provide LEADERSHIP and support to staff members, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
• Oversee customer service delivery, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively..
• Foster a POSITIVE and productive work environment by communicating effectively with staff and management
• Ensure that guests receive prompt, friendly, and personalised service.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that food quality exceeds customer expectations.

Skills & Qualifications: 

• Holds a current RSA
• A vibrant and friendly personality, positive attitude, self-presentation and loads of initiative.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
• ENERGETIC and VIBRANT approach with the ability to bring new ideas to life 
• Exceptional leadership skills including a proven track record of developing high performing teams, mentoring and coaching
• AVAILABLE TO WORK FLEXIBLE HOURS over the week, weekends and evenings;
• Can WORK IN A TEAM and create a safe and welcoming environment
• Is POSITIVE, WILLING and ABLE to learn while HAVING FUN!
