They say "Wine cheers the sad, revives the old, inspires the young, and makes weariness forget its toil." Reporting to the Store Manager and joining our National Community of Drinks Specialists, this specialised role provides customers with passionate knowledge around our wine selection. With so many options to choose from, we are passionate about finding wine professionals or wine connoisseurs to help guide customers on a wine journey of discovery.

The ROLE:

• Actively engage customers in an authentic way in store, sharing wine product knowledge and providing exceptional service.

• Work collaboratively with the store leadership team in setting up and facilitating customer events.

• Advocate for My Dan’s loyalty by engaging with customers to understand benefits and product offerings.

• Assist in developing the product knowledge of team members in the store.

• Undertake a variety of instore tasks, including customer service and inventory tasks as well as duty management.

• Make decisions through and role model our Values and Ways of Working.

• Contribute to store sales planning processes by sharing your specialist product knowledge and recommendations on product lines. 

Full working rights are required. You must have permanent and unrestricted working rights in Australia to be considered.

The YOU:

• YOU have extensive knowledge in wines, with good knowledge of other categories (spirits/wine) 

• YOU love to share your knowledge with others in a genuine and authentic way

• YOU have a passion for learning about new and emerging trends and categories

• YOU have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

• YOU have a current RSA certificate and the ability to work key customer hours

• YOU have experience in a drinks related role, including bar work would be well regarded

Candidates will be required to complete a functional screening assessment as part of the recruitment process
