JOB DESCRIPTION

The Bank Hotel
The Bank Hotel is a Newtown favourite and we are famous for our delicious food, leafy beer garden, unique cocktail bar, and live music from Sydney's best bands.  We are at the heart of the Newtown community, and we bring the Inner West together under our roof.
  
The Role
We're looking for a Cook or someone ready to step up to join our small but mighty team at The Bank Hotel. Someone who can work on multiple sections in a busy high paced environment with a Turkish inspired menu in the iconic inner west pub. 

You will bring to the role:

  • Previous experience as a cook in a kitchen
  • Full work rights
  • 7 day availability
  • Hungry to learn, good food knowledge and can apply skills in real time.
  • Service and station focused.
  • Can work from a prep sheet and follow recipes.
  • Someone who enjoys the service rush, it does get busy.
  • Team focused
  • Positive attitude.
  • Creative and willing to contribute to menu changes and specials.
  • Work in a clean and tidy manner.
  • Ability to prioritise work and work as a team.
  • Good communication both verbally and written
  • Tenure is very important to us, so someone that is willing to become part of the Solotel family.
