JOB DESCRIPTION

Enzos Cucina Northmead are NOW HIRING COOKS!

We are an established Italian restaurant seeking cooks with a minimum of 2 years experience in a fast pace high volume restaurant MUST LIVE IN AUSTRALIA AND BE READY TO START WORK.

Successful candidates would be joining a fun and fast paced Italian restaurant.

On an average Saturday night, you will be working as part of a team and will be cooking for up to 200 pax. You would report directly to Head Chef.

Close to public transport but transport recommended, with ample free onsite parking available.

The role includes working with a fun and dynamic kitchen crew various tasks including, but not limited to:

- Preparation of Italian food
- Being responsible for your own section
- Cooking in busy service for up to 200 pax
- Keeping your section clean and tidy
- Recieving stock, rotation of stock, keeping control of stock and wastage
- Working nights, weekends and public holidays
- General Kitchen duties
- Experience in a fast-paced Kitchen is preferred, and training will be provided to bring you up to speed with how we do things

Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $51,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year

REQUIREMENTS

  • Follow the venues policies and procedures, recipe cards and brand culture
  • Sanitsie work area and follow clean handwashing and food safety standards
  • Pre items on prep list for service
  • Recieve goods, rotake stock and unpack deliveries
  • Carry out basic cleaning tasks within the premises
  • Assist chefs, communicate clearly with all sections of the kitchen to ensure high quality food is served per order within expected time frames
  • Work as a team player especially under peak times and increased pressure on kitchen
  • Provide own full hospitality uniform and safe working shoes
  • Applicants must be flexible and be available to work a variety of day and weekend shifts and public holidays
