JOB DESCRIPTION

We have an exciting opportunity for a Enthusiastic Chef to work on our newest Brisbane boats.

We also have YOT Blue which is 80ft of pure super yacht luxury with a truly versatile layout. YOT 75 which is the pinnacle of yacht entertainment. YOT Vice which is licensed for 76 guests across 2 luxurious levels with 1 full-service cocktail bar.
Plus, YOT Capri, which will be out largest Super Yacht in the YOT Group fleet. With 3 luxurious open-plan entertaining spaces, catering for up to 70 guests, the layout of this Italian-designed and built Super Yacht, Is an entertainers dream.

Your day looks a little like this:

  • Arrive before the charter to prep catering, brief with team and setup for the charter
  • Execute catering as per runsheet during charter
  • Attention to detail is crucial in this role, from prepping to packing up and everything in between, so your ability to take direction and have the initiative to execute the charter as per the chef's brief is very important!
  • During the charter you will ensure that customer dietary requirements such as food allergies, intolerances are communicated clearly to the service team whilst adhering to food safety policies
  • Sometimes these charters get quite busy, so the ability to work efficiently under pressure with a positive attitude is a must, whilst ensuring consistency in food handling and presentation.
  • At the end of the charter, you are expected to take care with wastage and stock control, communicate with the Exec Chef with any feedback and discrepancies and ensure the kitchen and storeroom are left in a clean and safe condition

  • Have unrestricted hours to work

This is a casual position ranging from 25-36 hours per week that will require flexibility and weekend work. Immediate start preferable.

YOT Vice is based in Brisbane so the ideal candidate will be from Brisbane or willing to commute.
