JOB DESCRIPTION
The Zoo and Stranded are on the hunt for an experienced cook to join our kitchen. The Zoo is Brisbane’s longest running, dedicated live music with Zoopreme Pizzeria launched in January this year. In April The Zoo expanded again to launch Stranded, a rock n’ roll, mezcal and tequila bar with vinyl DJ’s 4 nights a week, serving pizzas and small plates ‘til late. Soon to be added in the mix is a bottle shop serving late night coffee and doubling as a direct outlet for Zoopreme Pizzeria. Between the 2 venues our opening hours are 5pm to late, Wednesday-Sunday. The menus are simple but tasty with pizzas and easy-to-prep sides/small plates.

Independently owned, operated, and booked by females for the past 29 years, The Zoo is one of Brisbane’s oldest and most beloved live music venues. The Zoo will next year celebrate 30 years of hosting some of the world's most famous acts, including The Pixies, The Black Keys, Paul Kelly, Lorde, Nick Cave and the Dirty Three, Ben Harper, Powderfinger, Silverchair, Violent Soho and Mogwai (to name a few).
